The arrival of AI caught me off guard.
I eagerly tried various AI products like ChatGPT, MJ, AutoGPT, and more.

These new things brought me a sense of being ahead of others in terms of information, but also brought me great anxiety and subsequent confusion. The original plan to update my public account weekly has not seen a new article in almost two weeks, and my study of basic networking knowledge has only resulted in a learning list. This is not what I wanted.

I learned how to use ChatGPT, understood prompts, and even used GPT to generate basic code for myself at work. But looking back, what it helped me achieve is far less than what I invested in it.

Trying new things to stay curious is a good habit. Most people lack curiosity. But this is also my huge flaw. Just like I read in an article before:

Sometimes you don't really want to master something, you're just curious about it. When your curiosity runs out, new things become worthless to you.

That's talking about me.

Today on Twitter, I learned that xLog originally planned to spend time learning network protocols but ended up creating this blog instead.

It took about fifteen minutes to write this text. Half an hour has passed, and it's now 10:30 at night. The next step is to figure out how to publish this article and make it visible to others. I probably won't be able to sleep until at least 11 o'clock. Today's plan is once again postponed.

But this blog is really nice👍: as long as I don't want to, no one can tamper with or delete my content, truly my own digital asset.
